Acadia ALERT - Campus Closed (Weather)

Today, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Acadia University will remain closed, with the exception of residences and Wheelock Dining Hall, due to the current campus and travel conditions. Wheelock Dining Hall may adjust their hours and any change in hours will be communicated through Residence Life.

Employees and students are not expected to come to campus and only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Non-essential employees are not expected to work during the closure. Any events scheduled for today will be postponed or cancelled.

Updates will be posted on www.acadiau.ca and pre-recorded on Acadia’s Information Line: 902-585-4636 (585-INFO) and on 585 phone system voicemail. Workshop for Students Curious About Law School

Law School, the LSAT, and Next Steps

Is law school in your future? In this workshop we will explore applying to law school, provide some background on the LSAT, and talk about how to get prepared. Led by a graduating senior in Law and Society, Asja Dawson, participants will have a chance to learn about law school admissions, the LSAT, and each LSAT section. Together we will review types of questions, discuss preparation, and consider some strategies for success.

  • Where: BAC 227
  • When: October 7 and 21, 2025, 6:00 PM -7:30 PM

Oct 7 Session: will provide a general overview and a take home practice test.

Oct 21 Session: will focus on strategies, and a detailed review of your practice test.
